A personal essayistic documentary that explores the beauty and depths of friendship between B and S, two trans women. While going through corridors of loneliness, as they struggle with their immediate world that refuses to see them for who they are, friendship becomes the idea of home and family, where the deepest connections and belongingness are found. The filmmaker introduces this tender friendship to her late grand aunt through imaginary conversations that carry in them fragments of shared love and longings, drawing intimate connections between human and non-human worlds.
Every once in a while, you watch a film and wish you had made it - for how boldly it pushes cinematic boundaries, how fearlessly it plays with form, and how seamlessly it carries you through emotion and memory. This is not just a film, it’s an embrace, a letter, and a quiet act of revolution. Tender, intimate and atmospheric, the film evokes memories and emotions which aren’t easy to articulate.
